Zellah B. (Stone) Thompson, 100, of Ashland, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, in Framingham. She was the wife of Norman Thompson, who died in 1996. Born in Ashland where she lived all her life, she was the daughter of the late George and Flora (Gordon) Stone. A graduate of Ashland High School, she was a lifelong member of the Federated Church in Ashland and a 75-year member of Aurelia Rebekah Lodge 80 in Ashland. She leaves three children, Lloyd A. Thompson of Missouri, Wayne G. Thompson of Vermont and Norma E. Russell of Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Matarese Funeral Home in Ashland.
