William E. Taylor, Jr., 55, of Ashland passed away Friday October 31st at home. He was the husband of Laura J. Rowe for 13 years. Born in Miamisburg, Ohio the son of Norma (Barchard) Wenzell and the late William Taylor, he was a 1970 graduate of Ashland High School. He owned and operated Berset & Taylor Realty for more than 25 years. Mr. Taylor was a former member of the Ashland Lions' Club and participated in the Boy Scouts of America. Bill was an avid traveler and enjoyed visiting many countries. He and his family also enjoyed spending their summers in Dennisport, MA. He is survived by a son, Ryan James Taylor of Natick; a daughter, Meghan O'Gorman of Boston; his stepdaughters, Kimberly Rowe of Ashland & Ashleigh Manning of Wrentham; his brothers, Dayne Taylor of Uxbridge and Robert Taylor of Southborough; and his sister, Janice Hutchinson of Framingham. William is also survived by two step grandchildren Krissy and Logan and nieces and nephews Shelby, Kolby, Brittany, Robert, Mike, Phillip, Jeff, Justin, and Shawn. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00PM in the chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home (www.mataresefuneral.com), 325 Main St., Ashland. Calling hours will take place Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
