Wayne R. Blackmar, 71, of Ashland passed away Wednesday May 20th at his home surrounded by family. He was the son of the late Maurice and Madeline (Vick) Blackmar. Wayne worked as a bartender for T.J's Restaurant in Ashland for 25 years. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam War in the Marine Corps. Mr. Blackmar is survived by two children, Eric Blackmar and his wife Julie of Milford and Karen Michelson and her husband Gary of Milford, and six grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday May 24th at 2:00 PM in T.J.s Restaurant, 355 West Union St. in Ashland.
