Warren A McDonald Sr, 82, longtime resident of Framingham passed away Friday July 20th with his family by his side. Born and raised in Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine McDonald, and beloved husband of Gladys McDonald. Mr. McDonald worked in the clothing industry from a young age; working his way to manager for Briggs New York clothing manufacturer, retiring in 2008.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children; Mary Ellen McDonald, Warren McDonald Jr. and his wife Donna, Kerry McDonald-Schaub, Nancy McDonald, Kathleen Struble and her husband Bob, and Mary Anne Fawkes, brothers, Jerry, Frank, and Paul McDonald, sister, Patsy Bowes, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Richard Murphy.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday July 24th at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Roxbury. Calling hours will be held Monday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
