Obituary

Warren George Kane, 67, of Ashland passed away Monday, Sept. 3rd at Tufts Medical Center in Boston surrounded by his family. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Warren and Mary (Cashman) Kane. Warren is survived by his loving wife Carolyn (Errico) Kane. They were married for 46 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Jeffrey Kane of Framingham, Tracy Beaudoin and her husband David of Ashland, Amy Capistran of Marlboro; and five grandchildren; Joshua and Nicolas Kane, Colin and Cadey Capistran, and David Beaudoin Jr.; four sisters; Mary Ellen Generazio and her husband Thomas of Florida, Lee Zucker of Hopkinton, Chrissy Furber of Florida, and Carol Kane of Framingham; mother-in-law, Helen Errico of Ashland, sister-in-law, Marie Ward of Mendon, brother-in-law, Dominic Errico of Framingham, and many nieces and nephews. Warren served in the National Guard and worked as a quality control inspector with Carlin Machine Co. in Southborough for 30 years and later at Tessier Machine Co. in Hudson. He was a resident of Ashland for 37 years, an avid drummer, loved fishing, and spending time with his family. Warren was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 7th at 9:00am at St. Cecilia's Church in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
