Obituary

Warner M. Pynn, 77, of Hopkinton, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 9th at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cambridge, he was the son to the late Quintin Pynn and Myrtice Babcock. He was the husband of Alice (Cabral) Pynn to whom he was married 57 years. A resident of Hopkinton for over 50 years, Mr. Pynn was the owner and operator of Warner's Landscaping. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and trips to his beloved camp in Brooks, ME. Warner was a long serving secretary and treasurer for the People's Gospel Hour, a radio ministry based in Nova Scotia. In addition to his wife; he is survived by three children; Stephen Pynn and his wife Donna of Bellingham; Alison Norton and her husband James of Uxbridge; and Lisa Hill and her husband Paul of Milford; six grandchildren; Quintin Pynn, Amanda Reneau, Eric Siebert, and Brittany, Blake, and Brooke Hill; and one great grandchild Alexa Reneau; and four sisters; Beverly Powell, Nancy Campbell, Donna McManus and her husband James, and Darlene Beaulieu. The Pynn family wishes to thank Salmon Hospice for their comfort and compassionate care during Warner's final days. A funeral service will be celebrated Monday Sept. 14th at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland with burial to follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Hopkinton. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2:00-5:00 PM in the funeral home.
