Waltraud (Trudy) A. Sanden 82 of Westborough, formerly of Ashland died April 16, 2007 at the Beaumont Nursing Home in Westborough after a long illness. Born in Konigsberg, Germany, she came to the United States in 1951 with her husband, Heinz Sanden, who died in 1977. She worked at Gilchrists Department Store in Framingham prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Grace Congregational Church in Framingham for many years. Trudy enjoyed music and opera and was an accomplished singer as a young woman in Germany. She leaves her daughter: Renate Heaton and her husband Donald of Hopkinton, her grandchild: Jennifer Fields of Grafton, and one great grandchild: Amanda Fields. A private service will be held on Wednesday in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home in Ashland, MA, with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland, MA. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
