Walter Harris Creswell, 73, of Ashland passed away on December 8, 2011. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Everett and Nellie (Walker) Creswell and husband to the late Elizabeth (Hewins) Creswell who died in 2000. Mr. Creswell was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. A resident of Ashland since 1971, he was a carpenter, working for Turner Construction, retiring in 1999, and a fifty year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Mr. Creswell is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Willey and her husband Robert of Whitinsville, MA; one grandson, Jonathan Willey; a brother, Donald Creswell and his wife Sue of Hopkinton, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Richard Creswell and Bruce Creswell. A graveside service is planned for Saturday, December 17th at 11 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Hopkinton, MA.
