Walter "Freddie" Camp, 68, of Ashland, passed away, Monday, Nov. 29th at the Carlyle House in Framingham. Born in West Palm Beach, FL; he was the son of the late Henry and Marjorie (Corwin) Camp, and husband to Rosemarie (Bossi) Camp. They were married 35 years. Freddie was a resident of Ashland for 30 years and was employed as a mechanic with Kar Spring Inc. in Framingham for 35 years retiring in 2000. He also enjoyed working for the Town of Ashland as a snow plow operator. Mr. Camp served his country honorably with the Air Force in 1961. Freddie was an avid fisherman and gardener, and enjoyed auto racing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Jason M. Camp and his wife Marina of Franklin; Lisa M Silverio and her husband Leonardo of Ashland; Walter F Camp Jr. of Florida; and Sandra Camp of Florida; one sister, Diane Camp of Tennessee; and four grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 1st at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
