W. Thomas (Tom) Hanna, Jr. 56, of Sherborn died unexpectedly on Marco Island, Florida. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Toni (Vercelli), his two beloved children, Kaitlyn and Warren Hanna III, and his brothers Dana Hanna and his wife LuAnn of Northborough and Gary Hanna of Delray Beach Florida. Tom was the son of Warren T. and Barbara (McNally). Warren T. Hanna, Sr. was the founder of Worcester Air Conditioning Company of Ashland, MA. Following his father's retirement Tom assumed the Presidency of Worcester Air and after his father's death continued as the principal owner, President and CEO of the company. Worcester Air Conditioning holds an enviable reputation for quality and efficiency within the commercial construction industry in this northeast region. Tom recently sold the company and was enjoying his retirement. He was a member of Local 17 Sheet Metal Workers' Union, the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association, (SMACCNA), and the Building Trades Employers Association (BTEA). In addition, Tom was an avid hunter and sportsman, skills that he first learned from his father. Hunting and fishing and antique gun collections were his avocation. In his youth, Tom served as an altar boy at St. Cecelia's Church in Ashland. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 20th at 9:00 a.m. at St. Cecelia's Church in Ashland with burial to follow at Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham.
