Virginia (Ginny) C. (O'Brien) Mirabito 80, a long time resident of Ashland passed away Wednesday, November 29th after battling a long illness. Mrs. Mirabito was born in Roxbury and was the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Connelly) O'Brien. Mrs. Mirabito graduated from Mission High in Roxbury. She was retired from Dennison Mfg. Company in Framingham. Mrs. Mirabito was a Charter Member of the Ashland Ladies Auxiliary VFW Memorial Post 2331. She enjoyed life, golf, travel, the Red Sox and time with her family. Ginny was the beloved mother of two daughters, Donna M. Simpson and her husband James of Bellingham, Jean M. McColgan and her husband John of Long Island, NY; devoted Grandmother (Nana) of five grandchildren, Linda Niro of Franklin, Carol Grennon and her husband Sean of Milford, Dawn Venutti and her husband Anthony of Bellingham, Christine and Jennifer McColgan of Long Island, NY; Great Grandmother to Kayle and Brian Niro, Kyle and Taylor Grennon, and Anthony Venutti; and Dear Sister of, Rita Wiseman and her husband John of Florida, William O'Brien of Braintree, and Mary Johnson and her husband Leonard of Walpole; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 5th at 9:00 AM in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty Street in Ashland.
