Virginia M. Mack, 83, of Ashland, passed away, Dec. 2nd at her home in Ashland surrounded by her family. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angela (Covino) Russo and wife to the late Richard D. Mack, who passed away in 2000. Mrs. Mack was an employee of the Framingham Trust Bank for many years and was a teacher's aid in the Ashland Public Schools for ten years. Virginia (Ginny) enjoyed her time at Cape Cod througout her life especially her time in Chatham with her grandchildren. A resident of Ashland for over 50 years she was a long time devoted member of St. Cecilia's Church in Ashland. She is survived by four children: Joseph Mack of Burlington, VT; Diane Jones of Grafton; Richard B. Mack of Wareham; and Catherine Flood of Southborough; eight grandchildren; Nicholas and Carly Mack; Keith and Zachery Jones; and Douglas, Ryan, Kyle, and Jacqueline Flood; two brothers; Anelo Russo of Milford; and Joseph Russo of Wareham; and one sister her best friend, Lena Cresczeni of Milford and her late brother Anthony Russo. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 6th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church in Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. A time of visitation will be held Monday from 8:00-8:45am prior to the service at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
