Obituary

Victoria Marie Stilwell, 27, of Ashland and Clinton, MA, passed away on May 15th, surrounded by family, after a two month hospital stay with unexpected illness. Victoria was born on November 10, 1995 in Framingham, MA. She graduated Ashland High School in 2013, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Framingham State University in 2017, and went on to work a job she loved at TJX Companies where she just celebrated her 5 year work anniversary.

Victoria's happy places were swimming in Cape Cod Bay and playing games at family gatherings in Ashland. She had a heart of pure gold and was the sweetest, most heartfelt person you could ever meet. What we will remember most about Victoria was her infectious laugh and her ability to create fun and excitement out of any situation. A day never went by without talking to her loved ones, in the form of a phone call, a funny video or a knock knock joke. If Victoria found out you were having a bad day, a surprise ice cream or your favorite meal would appear on your doorstep.
She had a way of keeping people connected and the relationships with her loved ones were the most important thing in her life.
Victoria and her fiancé Anders just celebrated their 9-year anniversary and were planning their wedding on Cape Cod for this September. Anders and Victoria loved to jump in the car and travel spontaneously to new places, play cards and garden on their porch, watch thunderstorms during the summer and try new restaurants they discovered on Phantom Gourmet.

Victoria was always Daddy's little girl. Dad and Victoria always loved spending time together, from always being in our boat, in the hot tub together playing games. Dad coached her basketball & softball teams while growing up. Dad was so proud of her and she idolized him. Every time they would come out of the harbor on the boat she would make him slow down at the first tree which marked the harbor channel for the "Cape Cod National Anthem" (which meant cracking a beer).

Victoria and her mom had a very unique and special bond that is hard to put into words. Not a day went by without several phone calls full of laughter. They were equally best friends as well as mother/daughter.
Kasey, Taylor, Kurt and Victoria weren't just siblings- they were the best of friends. And no matter which Stilwell sibling brought you into the family, Victoria always became everyone's little sister – cracking jokes and always smiling.

She was the proudest auntie and spoiled the kids with the trendiest outfits and coolest new toys, and always FaceTimed to say goodnight at bedtime.

She leaves behind and will be so missed by her father Victor Stilwell of Eastham MA, her mother Mary Stilwell of Marlborough MA, her sisters Kasey Hale (Jeff) of Ashland MA and Taylor O'Brien (Matthew) of Rockland MA, her brother Kurt Stilwell (Nicole) of Ashland MA, her fiancé Anders Carlson of Clinton MA, her nieces Grace Hale, McKenna Hale, and Emery O'Brien, and nephew Jack O'Brien, as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Victoria was the light of her loved ones' lives and taken too soon. Please help us say goodbye and celebrate her life.
