Vera (Montanari) Nardini 82 a lifelong resident of Framingham and former pat time resident of North Port, Florida; passed away December 19th in Boston. Born in Framingham she was the daughter of the late Guilio and Cesira (Renzi) Montanari. She was the wife of the late Alceo Nardini, who died in 2004. Mrs. Nardini attended Framingham schools and was a graduate of the Class of 1943. After raising her children, she worked in the Framingham School lunch program. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother to her family and will be greatly missed. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing bingo and bus trips to Foxwoods with her friends. Vera is survived by three sons: Daniel Nardini and his wife Lucille (Slatkavitz) of Centerville, David Nardini of Marlborough, Richard Nardini and his wife Dorothy (Casey) of Framingham; her grandchildren, Andrea Nardini, David Nardini, Craig Nardini, Christine Hornby, Major Richmond Hornby and his wife Annemaria; one great grandchild, Michael Hornby; one sister, Hilda Taralli of Leominster; one sister-in-law, Doris Nardini of Framingham and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alma Urbinati. A memorial service will be held on Saturday morning, December 22nd at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main St. Ashland, MA. At her request there are no calling hours. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association.
