Valerie R. (Flood) Hallenbrook, 63, of Ashland died Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Born in Framingham, Val was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eunice Flood and mother of the late Thomas Hallenbrook. She is survivied by her brother, Wayne Flood, and his family of Framingham and her granddaughter, Kristina Hallenbrook of Worcester. Val is also survived by her dear friend, caregiver and daughter by choice', Linda Cook, and her family of Worcester. A memorial service will take place at the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home in Ashland on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11:00 am. One calling hour will be held from 10:00-11:00am prior to the service. Burial will be in the family lot at Edwards Cemetery in Saxonville at a later date.
