Ugo (Barney) Nobilini, 90 formerly of Framingham, passed away November 11th in Lumberton, NC. He was the husband of the late Jessie (Vendetti) Nobilini. They had been married for 64 years. Born in Ashland, he was the son of the late Ned and Theresa (Carbone) Nobilini. Barney had lived in Framingham for many years. He was a roofer for 50 years, retiring from the Ned Nobilini & Sons Roofing Co. in 1981 as the principle owner. He was a member of the Dramatic Club and Christopher Columbus Club, both in Framingham. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Motschman and her husband Al of Winchendon; three granddaughters, Pamela Wannie and her husband Adam of Centerville, Cheryl Cormier and her husband Ken of Ashburnham, and Michelle Motschman of Holden; four great grandchildren, Zachary, Emma, Devlin, and Tia; one sister, Norma Pegoraro of Framingham; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was the bother of the late Lea Molinari and Reno, Armando and Bruno Nobilini. A funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home (www.mataresefuneral.com) 325 Main St. Ashland, MA. Cremation will follow. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening November 16th from 4-7 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barney's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
