Timothy James Thorsen, born October 28, 1980 passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 8, 2014 at his home in Ashland. He is the beloved son of Michael, Sr. and Virginia (Carnicelli) Thorsen. Timothy attended Ashland High School and was in the class of 1998, and studied at the New England Technical Institute. Timothy was the Owner and Operator of TJ's Lawn Tree and Snow of Ashland, and was a former member of the Ashland BNI Network. He enjoyed boating and traveling to Maine with friends and family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters; Amy Thorsen, MD, her husband Gaio Lakin of Hopkins, MN; Megan Powers and Dean James of Upton; Elizabeth Secatore of Ashland; two brothers; Michael Thorsen, Jr., of Ashland; David Thorsen and his wife Alison Thorsen of North Kingston, RI; eight nieces and nephews; Sam, Jack, Emily, Rachel, Kelly, Tommy, Danny and Joey; and his beloved longtime companion Stacy Piszcz, her daughter Allyson and grandson Caden. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland, Massachusetts.
