Loving Mother and Nana Teresa Ann Boardman, 84, of Ashland, MA passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late John and Ellen (McKeon) O'Rourke, wife of the late John L. Boardman, and Mother of the late Brian J. Boardman. Mrs. Boardman was a resident of Ashland, MA for 57 years. Teresa was a graduate of St. John's High School in Cambridge. She will be remembered as a loving mother and Nana. Teresa was a Boston sports enthusiast and enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was much loved and appreciated by her children and grandchildren who will all miss her dearly. She is survived by two sons: William S. Boardman of Ashland, MA; Shawn L. Boardman and his wife Toni of Ashland; six grandchildren: Stephen, Erin, Michael and Kevin Boardman; John and Christopher Boardman; one sister, Dorothy Lyons of Newtonville, MA; two brothers John O'Rourke and his wife Dorothy of Waltham, MA, William O'Rourke and his wife Margaret from Sudbury, MA as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Mary and Helen O'Rourke, Margaret McBride, and Barbara McCarthy. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 16th at 9:00am at St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. in Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4:00-8:00pm Monday, April 15th at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland
