Obituary

Tafta Foley, 88, of Ashland, formerly of Dover and Natick passed away peacefully Wednesday April 17th. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Michael and Angelina Spiro and former wife of the late Paul M. Foley. A graduate of Natick High School (1941) and Chandler Secretarial School in Boston (1942), she worked as a secretary for the Central Intelligence Agency and later as a secretary at Chambers & Winslow Advertising. Mrs. Foley was a longtime member of the Annunciation Orthodox Church in Natick. She is survived by two daughters; Lisa Foley of Ashland; and Laura Messier and her husband Frederick of Hopedale; and three grandchildren; Nichole, Brianna, and Jessica Messier. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 20th at 11:00am in the Annunciation Orthodox Church, 37 Washington St. in Natick with burial to follow in Dell Park Cemetery in Natick. Calling hours will be held Friday April 19th from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
