Sylvia D. Burke 66 of Ashland passed away February 18,2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Johnson of Ashland and two sons Paul Burke and his wife Michelle Burke, Christopher Burke and his wife Tracy Burke. She also leaves her grandchildren, Phoebe, Chloe, Rachel and Ryan. Sylvia lived in Ashland 40 years and worked as a waitress at Nello's Restaurant for 20 years. Sylvia's passion for gardening was a gift to family and neighbors and she loved antiques. Mom you will be missed. A memorial service will be held on Friday,February 24th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main St. Ashland. There will be one hour of visitation prior to service time
