In the early morning hours of November 14, 2025, Susan G. Brady, 79, of Ashland passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Jim Brady.

Born in Boston, Susan was the daughter of the late Howard and Julie (Sawyer) Kravets also of Boston. Susan was an educator, talented artist, and tireless combatant in the fight against Parkinson's disease.

Susan earned a degree in education from Lesley College. After a short teaching career, she turned her talents and interests to motherhood, wall murals, and graphic arts. Toward the end of her career she was a member of the graphic arts team at Gateway Media.

Above all else Susan was a mom and is survived by her two children, Brandon Greenstein and his partner Griffin Abee, of Black Mountain, NC, and Emily Greenstein, of Jamaica Plain. She was a proud Nana to Kitana of Asheville, NC, Willow of Raleigh, NC, and Ivy of Jamaica Plain. Susan is further survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Nancy Kravets of Needham, as well as niece Rebecca and nephew Alex and their families.

Susan was a devoted advocate of, and participant in, "Rock Steady Boxing: Fighting Back Against Parkinson's Disease." She enjoyed planting flowers, watching the leaves turn in autumn, and seeing each full moon light up the night sky. Susan possessed a gentle spirit and was affectionately known as "cat whisperer extraordinaire."

A celebration of life will be held later this month at a time and place to be determined.
