Stephen Peter McMillan, 54, of Framingham passed away Wednesday, August 3rd. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Beverly (Haldane) McMillan and the late Jerry McMillan. He was the husband of Jean (O'Rourke) McMillan for the last 8 years. Stephen worked for Stumpy's Tree Service for the last 10 years and previously owned and operated Jerry McMillan Professional Tree Service. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and country music. In addition to his wife and mother; Stephen is survived by his step-mother, Pat (Leehan) McMillan, his two daughters; Adria McMillan and her husband Drew Parrett of Brighton; and Jenna McMillan of Brighton; two brothers; Peter McMillan of Plymouth; and Todd McMillan and his husband James Stone of Dorchester; and two sisters; Cindy McMillan of Framingham and Lisa Piper and her husband Randy of Waldoboro, and his beloved dogs, Stella and Max.
A funeral service will be held Monday, August 8th at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Sunday, August 7th from 3:00-6:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Framingham Parks and Recreation Gift Account (check memo: In Memory of Steve McMillan) 475 Union Ave. Framingham, MA 01702
