Stephen C. Caron, 56, of Attleboro (formerly of Hopedale and Ashland) passed away unexpectedly Monday Jan 19th. He was the son of the late Laurent "Larry" and Therese "Terry" (Babineau) Caron and loving husband to Evelyn (Fraser) Caron. He was a graduate of Ashland High School Class of 1977 and a graduate of Fairfield University. Steve worked for Raytheon Co. for over 25 years as a Senior Manager in Labor Relations. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children; his son, Thomas Caron and daughter, Andrea Caron (both of Hopedale) and her boyfriend Barry Wood; two step-sons; Joseph Sansone and his wife Brenda of Mansfield, and Corey Sansone and his wife Amanda of Norwood; three grandchildren; Dylan, Hannah, and Sabrina; his sister, Jacqueline Cueroni and her husband Joe of Framingham; two nephews; Joseph and Anthony Cueroni; and two nieces; Michelle and Christina Cueroni. Steve was an amazing man, loving father, beloved husband, and good friend to many. He enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, and golfing. He loved camping with his family and friends, cherished his two dogs; Sparky and Penny, and was a dedicated New England sports fan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday Jan. 24th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. in Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
