Obituary

Stanley W. Tozlowski, 98, died peacefully on May 8th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Madeline J. (Flynn), who passed away in 2021.

Born in Framingham, MA he was the son of Polish immigrants Adolph and Jadriga (Jaroma) Toczydlowski. He graduated from Framingham High School in 1943, where he played basketball, and from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1949.

Stanley served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, aboard the USS Essex as an Aviation Electronics Technician. He was honorably discharged in 1946 and received several medals. He was married in 1950 and moved to Ashland with his growing family in 1957.

He was employed for many years as a tool designer for Duplicon Company of Westborough, MA. He left there to co-found Virgo Metal Stampings, Inc. of Worcester where he worked as one of the principals until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of the American Society of Tool and Manufacturing Engineers.

He was an avid golfer, and loved to attend Celtics and Red Sox games, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He leaves behind his children: Stan Jr, and his wife Suzanne of Pelham, NH, Eileen Norton of Franklin, MA, Patrice Bache and her husband Tom of Northborough, MA, Jean Koulouris of Andover, MA, Mark and his wife April of Plymouth, MA and Jo Anne Konz and her husband Paul of Shrewsbury, MA.

In addition, he leaves fourteen grandchildren: Mark Tozlowski and his wife Jess, Lauren Canto (Tozlowski) and her husband CJ, Rob Norton, Kerry Swain (Norton) and her husband Josh, Chris Norton and his wife Kerry, Michael Bache and his wife Ally, Jonathan Bache, Matthew Koulouris, James Koulouris, Chris Tozlowski, Kate Tozlowski, Caraline Konz, Madeline Konz and Kristen Konz.

He also leaves behind four great grandchildren: Oskar Tozlowski, Patrick Norton, Rose and Owen Bache.

At Stan's request, funeral services and interment will be private.
