Stanley Byron Macomber III, 59, of Ashland passed away Thurs. Sept. 7th after a hard fought battle with lung cancer.  A lifelong resident of Ashland, Stan was the son of Mary Hill and the late Stanley Macomber Jr.  He graduated from Keefe Technical School in 1977 and worked as a sales manager for BP Trucking for 35 years.     In addition to his mother; Stanley is survived by three sons; Devin, Justin, and Connor, all of Ashland, MA; and one sister, Sharon Macomber of Ashland.     Family and friends will honor and remember Stanley's life by gathering for calling hours on Wed. Sept. 13th from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.
