Sharon A. Mendles, 69, of Upton died Friday, September 12, 2014, in Framingham after a courageous two year battle with leukemia. She was the widow of the late John Mendles who died in 2010. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Dorothy (Stevens) Baker. Sharon was a graduate of Assumption College. A longtime resident of West Dennis, MA; she moved to Upton in 2012. She is survived by one daughter, Stefanie Dias Ruivo of Brazil, and one brother, Dennis Baker of Ashland, MA. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
