Hanrahan, Sean C. Ashland,MA Sean C. Hanrahan 26 of Ashland passed away February 15th . Born in Providence R.I. he was the son of Vincent and Kim (Henchy) Hanrahan. A graduate of Ashland High School Class of 2001, he attended Bridgeton Academy and Fitchburg State College. He was a Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve Battery C, 1st Battalion 103rd Field Artillery. He received the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal while serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Besides his parents he is survived by three brothers: Patrick Hanrahan of San Antonio, TX, Ryan Hanrahan of Cape Vincent, NY; and Colin Hanrahan of Ashland, MA; and his maternal grandparents: Harold and Carol Henchy of Cape Vincent, NY. A funeral Mass will be said on Monday, February 22nd at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church Esty St Ashland with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland, MA. Calling hours will be held on Sunday afternoon from 2-5pm in the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.
