Sean Michael Cooney, 37, of Framingham, passed away, Sunday, May 16th unexpectedly. He was the son of the Frances (Fantoni) Cooney and the late James L. Cooney Jr. Sean was a graduate of Framingham South High School and worked as a graphic designer. He was an avid fisherman and Bruins and Red Sox fan. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Shannon Brooks and her husband Thomas of Dorchester, one nephew, Finnegan Brooks, cousin, Brendon Ward of Framingham, and many more loving family members. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. Calling hours will be held from 11:00am-1:00 PM prior to the service.
