Scott Thomas Porcella, 56, of Ashland passed away Monday Sept. 1st with his family by his side.  Born in Framingham, he was the son of Maureen (Powers) Porcella and the late Edward Porcella.  A graduate of Marian High School Class of 1987, he graduated Northeastern University Class of 1993 with a BS in Business Administration.  Scott was an enthusiastic Patriots fan and avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed fishing and traveling to Moosehead Lake in Maine.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Robin Porcella of Ashland, and Maureen Carmichael and her husband Scott of Ashland, and two nephews, Barry and Walter Carmichael.

A memorial service will be celebrated Thursday Sept. 4th at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00-5:45 PM prior to the service in the funeral home.
