Sandra B. Zambesi, 75, lifelong resident of Framingham passed away Mon. July 7th after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Adolph and Alberta (Whiting) Zambesi. Sandra worked as a case worker for Advocates Inc. in Ashland for 19 years. She was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed cooking gourmet meals, making floral arrangements, birding, bingo and the serenity of the ocean.  Her most favorite thing was the family gatherings during the holidays, and she enjoyed wearing festive outfits to match each occasion. However, Christmas was her favorite.

Sandra is survived by one son, Steven John Zambesi of Mendon, sisters, Joanne O'Brien of Marshfield, Marie Young and her husband Raymond of NC, Marcia Fogarty of Framingham, brothers, John Zambesi of Naples, ME, Steven Zambesi and his wife Ann of St. Marys, GA, and the late Donald Zambesi and his wife Carol of FL, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Fri. July 18th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.  There are no calling hours.
