Sandra Lee Ferris, 80, of Ashland passed away Mon. July 14th after an extended illness.  She was the daughter of the late Walter and Bernice (Hall) Pynn and wife of Thomas Ferris Jr for 56 years.  Sandra worked as a kindergarten teacher in the Town of Ashland for many years retiring in 2007.  After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and was an avid Red Sox and Celtics fan.  Sandra was an active member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Southboro often volunteering in their Bargain Box thrift store and teaching Sunday school.
In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by two daughters, Heather Korpi and her husband Joshua of Milford, and Amy DeMeglio and her husband David of Milford, five grandchildren, Aubrey and Aaron Korpi, and Andrew, Brody, and Connor DeMeglio, and one niece, Carsten Snow-Eikelberg of Weymouth.  She was the sister of the late Susan Snow.
