Ruth Martell, 95, of Ashland, MA passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2021. She was born in Somerville, MA to Henry and Florence (Campbell) Upton. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford. She is survived by her five children and their families : Diane and Vera of Cranston, RI and their daughter Julie; Cliff and Ruth, of Middletown, CT and their children Chris, Paul, Joey, and Tim; Mark and Debra, of Nashua, NH and their daughters Katie, Kelly, Meghan, and Moira; Paul and Kim of Medway, MA and their children Scott, Bryan, Marissa, and Ben; Jon and Kristin, of Mendon, MA and their children Connor, Caroline, and Kyle. She also leaves many great-grandchildren, two special nieces, Trish and Cindy, and a special nephew, Bob. She was beloved by all and we will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrews Church, Framingham, MA. Due to COVID the funeral will be private.
