Ruth E. Cialdea, 89, of Ashland passed away Sun. Nov. 25th surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Peter Cialdea who died in 1998. The daughter of the late Alexander and Edith (Christie) Campbell, Ruth was raised in the Watertown and Newton area and was a graduate of Newton High School.

Mrs. Cialdea is survived by four children; John Cialdea and his wife Marie of Bellingham; David Cialdea and his wife Erin of Upton; Margaret Toce and her husband Robert of Ashland; and Theresa Brown and her husband Peter of Nashua, NH; 8 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 4 great-granddaughters, 1 great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Campbell of Norwood, and the late Richard Campbell of Brockton.

A funeral service will be held Wed. Nov. 29th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Tue. from 4:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Metrowest Hospice, 200 Nickerson Road, Marlborough, MA 01752
