Rosemary A. (Hilliard) Dzindolet, 96, of Framingham, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at Saint Patrick's Manor. Rosemary was the beloved wife of the late Alfred P. Dzindolet. She was a devoted and loving mother of Rose Lane and her husband Bill of Upton, Joan Callahan and her husband Tom of Shrewsbury, and Andrea Ashman and her late husband Edward of Bellingham. She was predeceased by her daughter, Theresa.
She was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her many nieces and nephews.
Born to the late George and Jennie (Regolinski) Hilliard. Rosemary was predeceased by her sister Rita Grupposo and brothers George Hilliard and Edward Hilliard, all of Holliston
Rosemary is survived by her siblings Kathleen Gjerde of Medfield, Joe Hilliard and his wife Joyce of Holliston, Johanna Hilliard of Holliston, Marylou Dobecheski and her husband Alex of Franklin, John Hilliard and his wife Jean of Holliston, and Patricia Beatrice of Wyoming,
Rosemary was a nurse at Framingham Union and Leonard Morse Hospitals. Her care and professionalism had a great impact on the lives of her many patients.
She found joy in simple pleasures: reading, sewing, spending time with her grandchildren and enjoying cherished vacation times on Cape Cod beaches with family and friends. She also loved to travel, creating special memories on cruises with her fellow nurses.
She was a lifelong parishioner at St. Mary's Church in Holliston until her move to Assisted Living at Carmel Terrace in Framingham where she attended Mass daily.
The family is immensely grateful for the compassionate care she received at Carmel Terrace and St. Patrick's Manor.
A funeral service will be celebrated Thursday March 26th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with urn burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 9:00-10:30am prior to the service in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosemary's name may be made to St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham or Catholic Relief Services .
