Obituary

Rose M. (Piccirillo) Napolitano, 97, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home in Natick where she lived. She was the wife of Arthur C. Napolitano, who died in October 1994. Born in Attleboro, the daughter of the late Angelo and Clara (Sannicandro) Piccirillo, she was a lifelong resident of Framingham and attended Framingham schools. Mrs. Napolitano was employed by Baker Nail Corp., Natick Shoe, the Framingham High School cafeteria, and the Framingham Hat Co. She was a member of St. Tarcisius Church where she sang in the choir, and a member of St. Jeremiah's Church. She enjoyed card playing, crocheting and cooking. She leaves her daughter, Joanna Bedalov and her husband, Tony, of Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia, and her son, Michael Napolitano and his wife, Caroline, of Holliston; two sisters, Florence Cicoria and Angie Weith of Framingham; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eleanor Martino, Josephine Tordiglione, and Anthony and Ralph Piccirillo. The funeral will take place Friday, May 4, from the John A. Matarese Funeral Home, Main Street, Ashland, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Cecilia Church in Ashland. Burial will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham. A visiting hour will be held Friday, May 4, beginning at 10 a.m., prior to the Mass. Memorial donations may be made to Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home, 15 Union St., Natick, MA 01609.
