Ronald Richard Turchi, 82, of Ashland, formally Westborough and Framingham passed away Saturday 18 January 2020 surrounded by his children and loved ones. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Ottavio and Josephine (Baronni) Turchi. Ron was married to the late Carole (Walsh) Turchi for would have been 55 years on Thursday. He served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959. Besides being a devoted family member, he worked for the Town of Framingham as a Civil Engineer for 27 years. He was a registered land surveyor for many years after.

Ron is survived by seven children: David Altobelli of Florida; Dara Altobelli of Oakland, CA and her wife Erica Crowell; Donna Lowell and her husband Frank of Ashland; Dana Turchi and his wife Maria of Bradford; Dean Turchi of  Los Angeles, CA; Denise Turchi of Shrewsbury; Doug Turchi of Merrimack, NH; six grandchildren: Paige and Cory Lowell, Olivia, Lukas, Ava, and Charlotte Turchi.  He is also survived by one sister Alma Hutchinson and her husband David of Framingham.  He is predeceased by his brothers Caesar, Dino, Louis, and two sisters, Rose Maietta, and Fausta Stevens.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 24 ^th and 9 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty Street, Ashland with burial to follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.  Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 23 ^rd from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland, MA.  www.mataresefuneral.com
