Roger W. Colson, 61, of Ashland passed away unexpectedly Thursday Oct. 11th at his home. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Ruth (Melin) Colson and the late Warren A Colson. Roger was a graduate of Natick High School Class of 1975 and Framingham State College Class of 1981 with a degree in Chemistry. He worked as a test engineer in electronic product development. Roger was a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts and had ridden over 500 roller coasters in 9 different countries. He was also a member of New England Triumphs and was currently restoring his 1957 Triumph TR3 automobile. He was a fan of silent movies and helped restore several theater organs to accompany the movies.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Audrey Colson of Ashland, brother, Lars Colson and his husband Chad Rippere of Dorchester, aunt, Lorraine Bloomquist of Charlestown, RI, cousin, Gordon Melin of North Easton, MA, and several additional cousins and extended family.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM on November 3 at Christ Lutheran Church, 113 Union St. Natick, MA.
