Obituary

Roderick A. Burns, 74, passed away Monday April 16th at the Fidelity House in Methuen.  He was the son of the late William and Theresa (Guarino) Burns. Roderick enjoyed attending Buttonwoods Adult day Health program, and had been a participant there since 2002.  He had been a beloved member of the Fidelity House residential program for the past 15 years.   He enjoyed attending Camp Allen each summer.  He had a great sense of humor and won over many of the people he came in contact with.  He had enjoyed a trip to Disney world and liked to go to the North Andover airport sometimes to watch the airplanes landing and taking off.  He will be missed by his housemates and people who worked with him.  He passed away after a short hospice at his home.  He always kept a Bible nearby and previously attended church at St. Michaels in North Andover.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday April 24th at 10:00am in St. Michael's Parish, 196 Main St. N. Andover, MA with burial to follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham, MA.  There are no visiting hours.
