Robert F. Boland, 79 of Holliston passed away Sat. July 8th after a period of declining health.  He was the son of the late Francis and Genevieve (Pawelec) Boland and husband of Louise (Cattani) Boland for 57 years.  A graduate of Boston College, Robert worked his entire career for General Motors, starting as a procurement specialist at the Framingham Plant, then as a service manager in Pontiac Division.  After retiring from GM in 2000, he assisted with his wife's business, Focus on Fitness, in Ashland.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael F. Boland and his partner Brenda Montano, and Christopher B. Boland and his wife Anna Brown, both of Oakland, CA, and one granddaughter, Flora Boland.

A celebration of life will be held Friday Oct. 20th at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA  01721
