Robert Thomas Walenski, 58 of Ashland passed away Tue. Feb. 6th after a long battle with cancer.  He was the son of Anne (Tierney) Walenski and the late Chet Walenski who died in 2011.  A graduate of Keefe Technical School in 1977, Robert worked as a finish carpenter in the Metrowest area.  An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the Ashland Fish and Game Club and enjoyed riding motorcycles.
In addition to his mother, Bob is survived by one brother, Stephen Walenski and his wife Nancy of Canton, his godmother and aunt, Kathleen Tierney of Florida, aunts, Sophie Young and Alice Walenski, uncle, Francis Walenski, and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday Feb. 10th at 10:00am in St. Matthew's Parish, 105 Southville Rd. Southboro, MA with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.  Calling hours will be held Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St . in Ashland.
