Robert M. Mealey, PhD, 58 of Framingham passed away July 3, 2018. Bob was the band director for the Sudbury Public Schools for 35 years.  Beloved husband of 26 years to Rebecca Mealey and devoted father to Robbie and Daniel Mealey, he was the son of the late Robert and Anne Mealey.

Bob is survived by his siblings, Donna and Bob Griffin of West Roxbury, Joanne and Sean Ryan of Westwood, John and Deirdre Mealey of Westwood and Ginny and Dan Carroll of West Roxbury.  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 9th at 10 AM in St. Matthew's Church, Southville Road, Southborough, MA with interment to follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Framingham.  Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 8th from 2-4 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bob's memory to www.vh1SavetheMusic.org . or vh1Save the Music Foundation, P.O.
