Robert F. LaPointe, 84, of Ashland passed away Monday April 27th at his home surrounded by his family.  Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late George and Bernice (Adams) LaPointe and husband of Eileen (Muto) LaPointe.  Robert was self-employed as a builder and master electrician in the Metrowest area.  He enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by ten children, Michael LaPointe of Worcester, Michelle Cormier of Franklin, Christine Lage of Ashland, Timothy LaPointe of Douglas, Todd LaPointe of CT, Jennifer Wiggs of CA, Brandi Pierson of CT, Brandy LaPointe of Cambridge, Peter LaPointe of Westborough, and the late Scott LaPointe, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three brothers, George Lapointe of FL, Jerry LaPointe of Onset, and the late Ronald LaPointe.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday May 7th from 3:00-6:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
