Framingham - Gavin Jr., Robert F. (63) (Bob) of Framingham, MA formerly of Ashland, MA died on Tuesday June 21, 2022 in the arms of his beloved life partner. Bob loved his children, grandchildren and family, his dogs and going fishing in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. He was an avid Boston sports fan, enjoyed listening to music, and buying everything for his grandchildren. Bob was the Transportation Manager for Brenntag Northeast in West Boylston, and previously held that position at Houghton Chemical Company in Allston for many years.

Bob is survived by his soulmate Kathleen McSweeney with whom he spent many happy years. He is also survived by his children - Stephanie Gavin, Katie Gavin, Kelly Gavin, and George Gavin, his mother - Dorothy Nelson, step-mother - Ellen Gavin, siblings - Lynda Jariabko and her husband Mark, David Gavin and his wife Brenda, and Deborah Gavin, grandchildren - Ashley Braverman and husband Matt, Jaimie Korner, James Liberty, Myles Korner, Jillian Korner, and Jenna Korner, niece and nephews - Danielle Wetmore and her husband Matthew, David Gavin Jr. and his wife Laura, and Andrew Gavin and his wife Chelsey, his step children Dottie Levesque and her husband Wayne, Mindy Bullerwell and her husband John, and Cheryl Korner, great-grandchildren - Elayna, Cara and Jaxon and his puppy Stella. Bob was predeceased by his father Robert F. Gavin Sr.

Arrangements are under the direction of Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street Ashland, MA 01721. Calling hours are Wednesday 6/29/2022 from 9:00am to 10:30am followed by memorial service in the chapel at Matarese Funeral Home.
