Robert "Bob" F. Davis, 73, of Framingham, MA, beloved husband of Maurene (Urbinati) Davis, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9th, 2015 at home surrounded by his family after a period of declining health. He was born in Boston, MA to Charles and Mildred (Keegan) Davis and lived his life in Framingham. Bob leaves his loving wife Maurene of 48 years; his three sons Mark Davis and wife Janet of Millville, MA, Dean Davis and wife Leona of Bellingham, MA, Todd Davis and wife Tracy of Bridgewater, MA and his daughter, Tina Rambarran and husband Bradley of Medway, MA; his grandchildren, Lyndon, Joslyn, Zack, Karissa, Lily, Chloe, Thomas, Ava, Josh and Ashley; and his brothers Charles, Lawrence, Edward and his sister Dorothy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Gerald and his sisters Barbara, Caroline and twin sister Roberta. Bob enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren as well as hunting, fishing, spending summers in York, ME finding treasures with his metal detector and was a line dance instructor for 25 years. He served in the US Army, was a disabled veteran and worked as an Engineer, retiring from Fenwal Electronics. He graduated from Framingham High School in 1960. Bob was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Calling hours will be held Monday Oct. 12th from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland. A funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday Oct. 13th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home with one calling hour from 9:30-10:30am prior to the service. Burial will take place in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.
