Robert John
Depietri
Jul 7, 1933 — Nov 5, 2025
Framingham
Robert John Depietri "Bob," 92 of Framingham, MA & Naples, FL died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on November 5, 2025. Born in Framingham on July 7, 1933, to Antonio and Mary (Antonioli) Depietri, he was a devoted husband to his wife of 69 years, Louise (Labadini), and a loving father to Bob, Jr., Lisa, Bill, and David.
Bob grew up and lived in Framingham until 1975, and moved to Southborough in 1982, after returning from several years of overseas work. He lived in Southborough with his family for the next 41 years before moving back to Framingham in 2023. Bob loved the peaceful rural feeling of living in Southborough and enjoyed haying the fields behind his home on Sears Road on his antique Ford farm tractor.
Bob was hard-working and dedicated. He spent over 33 years working in construction for Perini Corporation, which included working several years internationally in Kuwait, Israel, and Egypt. Locally he worked on construction projects including the Prudential Center, the Federal Reserve Bank building and Logan Airport as well as the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant. Upon retiring from Perini in 1985, he ventured into real estate development with his sons. There he was involved in the development of numerous office/commercial buildings and residential developments in eastern & central MA. Bob was proud to instill his strong work ethic in his children and grandchildren.
Bob always made time for his family; he loved family get-togethers, whether spending weekends in New Seabury boating and barbequing, or driving his grandchildren through the farm fields behind his home on Sears Road on his four-wheel ATV. Spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren was one of his greatest enjoyments.
Never one to decline an opportunity to socialize with friends and family, he always loved being with people. In 1998 Bob retired and spent winters in Naples, FL. Each fall he looked forward to heading to Florida in anticipation of seeing the family and friends he grew up with in Framingham and escaping the chilly winter weather.
Bob is survived by his wife, Louise, his son Bob, Jr, of Southborough, his daughter, Lisa Pezzoni and her husband Bill of Yarmouthport, his son, Bill of Boston, his son, David of Framingham, his brother John and his wife Lynne of Upton, his brother-in-law Robert and his wife Barbara of Acton, his grandchildren, RJ, Jared, Sander, Justin, Brandon and Caroline Depietri, Jonathan Pezzoni and his wife Erica, and Elizabeth Pezzoni, his great-grandchildren, Jack and Ana Pezzoni, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard of North Point, FL and his brother-in-law, Ronnie Labadini of Wellesley.
The family takes great comfort in knowing Bob has been reunited with the friends and family members who have passed before him.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the
