Robert C. Davis, 89, lifelong resident of Natick passed away Friday Dec. 1st at Eliot Healthcare of Natick. Son of the late Walter and Doris (Remington) Davis and husband of the late Helen (Cole) Davis who died in 1993. He worked as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service in the Framingham and Natick area for many years. Mr. Davis served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War and was awarded the bronze star.

He is survived by his nephews, John Rousseau Jr and his wife Alice of Bellingham, Russell Rousseau and Robert Rousseau, both of Hopkinton, nieces, Debra Rousseau of Hopkinton, Loretta Donathan and her husband Larry of VA, and Margaret Chauvin and her husband Bill of NH, as well as several additional nieces and nephews. He was the step-father of the late Warren and Brenda Nimms and brother to the late Russell Davis and Marion Rousseau.

A memorial service will be held Mon. Dec. 11th at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA. One calling hour will be held from 9:00-10:00am prior to the service.
