Robert T. "Bob" Cooper passed away Saturday November 19 ^th , 2022 at the age of 78. Bob leaves his wife, Janet (Cronin) Cooper of Framingham, his Daughter Karen Marie Cooper of Southport, NC, his sister Carolyn McGoldrick of So. Portland, ME as well as family and friends who loved him very much. He was predeceased by his beloved brother John and his adored mother Mary.

Bob attained a Masters Degree in Public Health, and was the director of the Framingham Board of Health for 35 years. He was a hardworking, honest, and dedicated employee, who retired at the first opportunity of full retirement benefits, one day after his 63 ^rd birthday.

Bob proudly served as a member of the US Air Force Reserves from 1966-1972.  He was a member of Boston's Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company, EAA, QB's and countless other groups and organizations.  He also enjoyed golf, driving his military Jeep, Boston sports, and watching Fox News to drive his wife crazy.

Besides his family, Bob's greatest passion in life was flying.  He obtained his private pilots license in the 1970's at the former Marlboro Airport, where he gained not only immense knowledge, but also many lasting friendships.  More recently, Bob flew out of Crow Island Airpark in Stow, surrounded by a community of pilots he was honored to be a part of.  He was a man of tradition and was always first in line to attend an "impromptu cookout" or a Saturday pancake breakfast.

Bob was someone who took great pride in all the things he held most important.  He loved his family, his friends, his country, and his cat, Ella.  He lived his life to the fullest, enjoyed the little things (as well as the big things!), and above all else, Bob was just a wonderful man.  He will be missed by so many.

In celebration of his life, Bob requested to "have a big party" which will take place on Saturday December 3 ^rd at 1:00pm at Juniper Hill Golf Course, 202 Brigham St, Northborough, MA 01532.
