Robert Edward Clark, 90, of Ashland passed away Sunday June 22nd at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham after a period of declining health. He was the husband of Kathleen (Galloni) Clark for 69 years. A resident of Ashland for 64 years, Mr. Clark worked as an electrician and later the Maintenance Dept. Head at Dennison Manufacturing in Framingham for 44 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and VFW Post 2331 in Ashland. Robert served his country honorably with the United States Marine Corps in the South Pacific from 1941-1945. In addition to his wife; he is survived by three children; Lynn Culverwell, married to the late Ken Culverwell, of Ashland; Susan Clark of Worcester; and Robert Clark, Jr of Douglas; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia Gevry of VT. He was the brother of the late Lloyd Clark of Framingham. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 24th at 10:00am in the Chapel of St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St. in Framingham. Calling hours will be held Tuesday at St. Patrick's Manor from 8:30-10:00am prior to the service. The Clark family requests that instead of flowers donations be made to the Ashland Ambulance Fund, 70 Cedar St. Ashland, MA 01721. Arrangements are under the direction of the Matarese Funeral Home in Ashland.
