Rita M Giombetti, 96, of Ashland passed away Wed. March 15th after a period of declining health.  She was the wife of the late Ameideo Giombetti who died in 1982.  Mrs. Giombetti worked as a quality control inspector at Fenwall Electronics in Framingham for many years.  She was formerly active with the Ashland VFW Ladies Aux.

Rita is survived by five sons; Bob Giombetti and his wife Anne of Ashland; Rick Giombetti and his wife Andrea of Hampden, MA; Edward Giombetti and his wife Karen of Ashland; David Giombetti and his late wife Susan of Ashland; and Fred Giombetti and his late wife Carol of Ashland; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Fran McGrath of Camarillo, CA, and one sister-in-law, Annie Bucchino of Marlborough.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.  Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3:00-5:00 PM in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Carlyle House Nursing Home, 342 Winter St. Framingham MA 01702.
