Rick J. Dorman, 54 of Milford passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sun. July 9, 2023.  He was the husband of Deb (Nemet) Dorman for 13 years.  He was the son of Judith (Dolley) Kelly and the late Gary Dorman Sr.  Rick worked for many years as an access coordinator for Rhode Island Public Broadcasting.  Most recently, he worked as a purchasing agent for Cumberland Farms.  He was a passionate music fan and was the co-creator of badtastemusic.com, a website promoting alternative music.

His greatest joy in life was being a loving husband, the best brother, and the silly uncle.  Family time was his favorite time. He looked forward to the annual family Maine trip; he enjoyed the time with his siblings, nieces and nephews.  The highlight of these gatherings was the annual sibling's wiffleball game.  Every trip to Maine required a visit to Kettle Cove in Cape Elizabeth where he and Deb were married.  He was an ardent New York Giants and Las Vegas Knights fan.  He had a passion for music, and his taste was eclectic.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his siblings, Gary Dorman and his wife, Kimberly Dorman of VA, Kimberly Kelly-Brewster and her husband Barry Brewster of ME, Matthew Kelly of ME, and Allison and Carley Dorman, both of FL., step-mother, Donna Dorman, step-father, Joseph Kelly, and his nieces and nephews, Sierra Tibbetts, Thomas Tibbetts, Jason Kelly, Denali Tetrault, Erin Dorman, Westley Nemet, Dylan Niedzwiecki and Jackie Nemet.  He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Robert and Esther Nemet, his brother-in-laws, Robert and Jaime Nemet and Brian and Melissa Nemet.  He is also survived by Nicole Bolieau and family and Samantha Vazquez and family; they held a special place in his heart.

Visiting hours will be held Sat. July 15th from 10:00am-12:00PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM in the funeral home. At the request of Deb and his family, please wear clothing representing your favorite sports team or band.
